HRACO Mentoring Program

The Board is excited to announce a new benefit for HRACO members à the HRACO Mentoring Program.  Formal SHRM mentoring programs across the country have had great success and we believe that our members in Central Oregon can also benefit from such a program.

Once we have identified the members who are interested in learning more about this program, we will be holding a special event after work on Thursday, January 21, 2010 for these members to hear how the program works along with a fun opportunity for “Speed Matching!” (along the same concept as “Speed Dating”).  The Mentees will have a chance to “Meet the Mentors,” and all participating will submit their “top 3 choices.”  The Mentoring Committee will consider these choices along with bio’s for each one to assign the pairings. The pairs will be contacted about the “kick-off” event on Thursday, February 18, 2010, to provide them with information and guidance to start their mentoring relationships.
