Central Oregon Pediatric Associates (COPA) of Bend, Oregon, Central Oregon’s largest independent pediatric practice, is hiring a full-time AP/PR Clerk - Accounts Payable & Payroll Clerk. At COPA, the Accounts Payable & Payroll Clerk supports both the Finance Manager and the Human Resources Manager and is responsible for administrative duties in both departments. This role provides customer service to outside vendors as well as all internal team members. The role of the AP/PR Clerk will include but is not limited to the following duties: Maintains an in-depth knowledge of principles, practices, standards and techniques and demonstrates knowledge in accordance with COPA policies and procedures within pertinent laws and regulations in the following areas: · Performs the processing and recording of accounts payable transactions and ensure that all invoices and expense reimbursement requests are paid accurately and in accordance with COPA policies · Reviews expense coding to ensure accuracy · Processes check runs · Manages employee expense reimbursements and credit card reconciliations · Assists with monthly closing activities · Manages vendor relations and prepares 1099 forms for vendors · Prepares account analysis as requested · Supports staff with ADP Workforce Now payroll system self-service functions including employee tax withholding, direct deposit information and changes in employee personal data · Maintains all payroll filing systems including active and terminated employee files as well as payroll vendor files · Assists in the preparation and processing of bi-weekly payroll for all employees · Produces and write reports from ADP · Assists in researching, analyzing and resolving payroll related issues or questions from employees · Processes off-cycle check requests including PTO cash outs and final paychecks · Prepares requests for payroll liability checks · Handles sensitive information in a confidential manner The right candidate has a history of positive interactions in team environments and friendly demeanor to patient and families of all backgrounds. Qualifications - Minimum of 3 years of accounts payable and payroll experience required. Knowledge of ADP, Concur, SinglePoint and Quickbooks preferred. High School diploma or GED required.
