As our Compensation & Benefits Analyst you'll have an opportunity to support various aspects of compensation, benefits and leave administration for the Company. Your compensation experience will be used to help with the overall set up and maintenance of a formal compensation structure, observing compensation trends, participating in compensation and benefit surveys, and completing compensation reviews for new or modified positions. This position is also responsible for handling reporting and data analytics for the benefit programs. This includes building and observing ongoing reports and data, while building historical information to assist the organization in understanding the impact of the various benefit programs. Will use historical information and trends to support decision-making. This position will also be the main point of contact between employees and the company disability and leave of absence vendor. • Assists Manager with various aspects of compensation administration. This will include compensation reviews and benchmarking job requested. Assist with set up and maintenance of Company compensation structure. Participate in, and receive salary surveys annually. Keep information in the online compensation tool updated, including getting new surveys added each year, and also working with HRIS to update employee information as needed. • Receives and creates reports to provide ongoing data on various health insurance claim activities across all Company medical plans. Will use the online reporting tool available through the vendors to extract information on an ongoing basis as well as for ad hoc requests from leadership. Uses data to report trends within the health plan. • Works with outside disability and leave of absence vendor to support compliance with Company policies and practices. Ensures the status of employees going out on or returning from leave are correctly and timely updated in systems of record. Collaborates, as needed, with the Business Partners, managers, and Workers’ Comp administrator on active leaves. Will also be responsible for managing reporting from the leave vendor website and/or out of Company systems. Performs other miscellaneous tasks related to employee leave, including reporting on short term disability costs, reviewing and applying changes to applicable leave laws. • Oversees administration of the wellness program, including reviewing and submitting the quarterly payout information to payroll, scheduling and coordinating events such as on-site biometric screenings and flu shots, and coordinating quarterly challenges. • Receives, reviews for accuracy, and seeks approval for monthly and other invoices from benefit vendors. Submits approved invoices to Accounting for payment. Follows up with vendors and/or accounting on any adjustments or corrections that require attention. What You Will Need: • Bachelor's Degree preferred. • Minimum of 1 year experience in Human Resources, preferably including exposure to compensation and/or leave and disability administration. • Basic understanding of employee benefit programs. • Strong Organization/ Planning/ Multi-Tasking skills • Independent Thinking and Problem Solving skills • Outstanding communication skills • A passion for the work you do!
