Aerotek is seeking an HR Generalist for a prominent manufacturing company in Redmond, OR. This is a full-time position with great benefits and bonus potential! This individual will provide HR administrative support for all employees in addition to processing daily and weekly timekeeping and payroll tasks. Job duties include: • Maintains all personnel records • Conducts new hire orientation and exit interviews • Coordinates supervisor meetings, events and activities • Processes weekly payroll, including all daily and weekly adjustments • Maintains attendance records and timecards for hourly employees • Maintains all necessary payroll functions for all hourly employees • Manages internal communication systems • Tracks discrepancies, documents, and provides feedback to correct behavior • Provides counsel and support to supervisors in resolving personnel issues, program development/implementation, etc. • Assists in the administration of benefits, including workers compensation • Assists in the staffing process, including job posting and screening • Facilitates the development and administration of Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity requirements • Distributes payroll checks and department mail Minimum qualifications include: • Bachelor’s Degree required and 2+ years of HR Generalist experience • Timekeeping, payroll and benefits administration experience strongly preferred • Proficiency with MS Office applications including Word and Excel • ADP/eTime experience strongly preferred • Must demonstrate a strong attention to detail • Must be flexible and able to adjust to interruptions • Adaptable to changing priorities and concurrent assignments - must be able to organize tasks and work independently • Ability and desire to work in a demanding, fast paced work environment • Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed to meet payroll processing timelines • General knowledge of the human resource function, emerging HR trends and legal requirements, and familiarity with all areas of sound HR practices • Demonstrated proficiency in at least two specialties highly preferred (e.g., Employment, EEO and AACP, Training and Development, Compensation, Labor Relations Law, etc.)
