Job Summary The BBSI Payroll Specialist/Data Analyst position is a key member of business unit that consults on a broad range of organizational and management Key Performance Indicators relevant to the Business Owner and Business Unit (BU) goals. Their primary objective is to process perfect and timely payrolls, and most importantly, deliver timely and relevant information and contribute to the revenue retention and profitability of the Branch.This person must demonstrate strong business acumen, and possess an entrepreneurial spirit with a genuine desire to proactively and consistently deliver value to our clients and internal teams.This position reports to the Area Manager and works in partnership with other positions within the branch. Responsibilities •Act as business owners’ advocate by helping them achieve their goals. •Run perfect and timely on- and off-cycle payrolls for multiple client companies.•Drive process improvement within client companies. •Responsibilities include client onboarding, BBSI payroll, CRM (Salesforce) management, timekeeping and HRIS systems. Identify systems options to achieve better results for clients and the branch. •Perform on-site client payroll training, HRP Web (online payroll system) training and use of all feature functionalities relevant to client. •Perform EFTs, aging follow up, net calculations, benefit audits, and benefits billing administration.•Ensure client stakeholders are fully trained on HRP Web, including but not limited to data entry and file maintenance to include employee on-boarding, changes and terminations. •Perform on-site customer payroll training as needed, face time with clients is a must. Continue ongoing client training as new technology and feature functionality becomes available. •Fully utilize SalesForce to capture client communication and information. Qualifications •2 years’ experience processing high-volume payroll, ideally in a multi-client, fast-paced, demanding environment. We’ll also consider similar experience in a Finance, Accounting or Human Resources role in lieu of specific payroll experience. •Knowledge of wage and hour laws and taxability of wages. Exposure to employee relations and human resources. •Strong client service orientation, with top notch problem-solving and customer service capabilities. •Systems experience including proficiency in MS Office, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word. Experience in CRM, Citrix preferred.•Effective communicator with individuals at all levels within an organization. •Professional appearance and demeanor; excellent verbal and written communication skills. •Exceptional time management skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting, with minimal supervision. •Results-oriented, accountable and highly organized. •Bachelor’s or associate’s degree; CPP, FPC, PHR designation preferred but not required. •Possession of a valid driver’s license with automobile insurance meeting BBSI criteria. •Professional appearance and demeanor. •Limited overnight travel, approximately 10% of time doing local travel for client visits and onsite training.
