Are you looking for an exceptional work opportunity in Bend? Are you a passionate Human Resources Generalist or Human Resources Manager looking for a career in a fun and rewarding environment? A growing, independent finance company is adding to their tight-knit team. As the HR Manager, you will be the only member of the HR team in their Bend office. You will be participating in instrumental initiatives to help grow the business and drive success. This is a Full-time position located in Bend, OR. What you get to do in this role: • Recruitment of new employees, including maintenance of job requirements and job descriptions. Remain current on salary trends and requirements to attract and hire quality candidates. • Lead the on-boarding process. • Manage the setup of new employee needs (desk, computer, cell phone, etc.) • Maintain up to date policies and procedures to meet regulations in CA, AZ, OR and WA. • Implement HR and retention strategies. • Maintain all employee and HR records. • Maintain Employee Handbooks. • Implement and manage learning and development programs. • Manage all aspects of Employee Relations. • Support the benefit and compensation programs such as: Medical, Dental, Vision, Worker’s Compensation, Cobra, Disability, 401(k) and all other benefits. • Create and implement the performance review process. • Plan office team building events. The Ideal Candidate has: • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and/or equivalent work experience. • 3-5 years progressive HR generalist experience. • Highly motivated with strong problem solving and analytical skills; ability to work and drive multiple projects with minimal supervision. • Strong organizational skills. • Ability to work in a team environment yet be independent and unsupervised. • Solid foundation of HR and employment law. • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written. • SHRM-CP/SCP and/or PHR certification preferred. • Knowledge of California Law preferred, not required.
