As the Human Resource Business Partner you will provide excellent human resources support to management and staff in one of Central Oregon’s top employers! Where You Get To Live! Check out the sights and sounds of the region at: https://vimeo.com/200038114 What You Get To Do! •Serves as a liaison between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering policies and helping resolve work-related challenges. •Serves as a critical link between the human resources department and clinic staff. •Creates, updates and maintains HR department manual of operations. •Assists in development and implementation of employee relations strategies that proactively address company and employee needs. •Maintains records and compiles statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, compensation and other records. •Conducts employment investigations, manages the corrective action / discipline process and ensures consistent and timely closure of complex cases. •Coaches, counsels, and provides employee relations advice and direction to managers and employees ensuring compliance with Company policy, and employment laws and regulations. •Maintains the confidentiality and security of employee information. •Actively identifies employment gaps, proposes and implements changes necessary to minimize risks to the organization.•Provides support on the design and development of HR initiatives and strategy. •Coordinates layoffs, or other reduction of force plans as necessary; ensure involved parties receive appropriate guidance, support and information.•Maintain awareness of current employment law and recommend policy and/or practice changes to comply with federal and state laws and regulations. •Manages employee recruitment and retention strategies and conducts exit interviews. •Oversees recruitment and onboarding processes. •Creates and updates job descriptions. •Oversees internship programs with various schools. •Provides essential management support to HR Director. What You Will Need: •Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or related field, or equivalent experience and education. •Solid knowledge of human resource laws and regulations. •Understanding of compensation and benefits policies and programs, employee relations practices, and recruitment techniques. •Five (5) plus years of progressive experience in human resource positions. Supervisory experience is a plus. •Strong analytical skills. Excellent oral and written communication abilities. •Ability to work cross-functionally and comfortable taking direction from multiple senior leaders. •Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience. •Ability to utilize a variety of interpersonal styles and communication methods to effectively adapt to new work structures, processes, or cultures. •Ability to identify opportunities to increase accuracy, optimize resources, and develop, recommend, and implement solutions. •Self-motivated and able to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment; consult with team members and management as needed. •Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. •Human Resource certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM SCP, PHR, SPHR or similar) strongly preferred.
