The HR Generalist is responsible for performing core HR administrative duties on a professional level, supporting all companies. This role will also perform multi-state, multi-company payroll processing/reconciliation and benefit administration. • Process monthly multi-state, multi-company payroll for 130+ employees, ensuring accuracy in all transactions including maintaining related records, payroll reports and voluntary deduction reports, processing involuntary deductions such as levies and garnishments, documenting and updating procedures, preparing accounting reports, and special reports for management. • Reconcile vendor accounts, payments and data uploads while interfacing with Accounting and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). Troubleshoot errors and ensure accuracy in all employee profiles, time off, pay information. • Works alongside HR Manager in administration of all company benefits (Health, Dental, 401(k), Voluntary Insurances, Worker Comp, etc), including assistance with Open Enrollment. • Event coordination and administration of company programs/perks. • Protect organization by maintaining confidentiality at all times. • Assist employees with questions regarding benefits and payroll. • Provide time and attendance training to new managers or approvers, including processing and documentation requirements. • Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, attending and actively participating in meetings and proactively seeking ways of effectively streamline and automate the processing of payroll. • File annual reports such as EEO-1 and ACA. • Participate in surveys/census reporting and audits. • Full cycle recruitment including job postings, set up interviews, new hire orientation and onboarding coordination. • Maintains all employee records, I-9 and other HR documentation. • Companywide Email/Communication as directed by HR Manager. What You Will Need: • Bachelor’s Degree in related field • 3+ years progressive HR administrative/generalist experience required • 3+ year payroll processing experience for mid– sized company, preferred • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, not shy about public speaking • Understanding of all facets of employee benefits including ERISA, ACA, and how benefit changes coordinate with payroll • Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now a plus • Knowledge of Smartsheet and Box is a plus • Excellent computer skills with advanced understanding in Excel, Word and Outlook • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Works well in a team environment and able to thrive independently • Ability to take direction, meet timelines, and work on a multitude of projects at one time • Adaptable to fast paced work environment with changing priorities • Strong work ethic with high level of integrity
