As the Employee Development Specialist, you will assist the Leadership Development Manager Develop and administrate the design, delivery, evaluation, and communication of employee development initiatives and programs in collaboration with the Leadership Development Manager and team. Review deliverables for quality and effectiveness per department standards and quality expectations. Works closely with departmental leadership to ensure employee development programs are implemented and executed per department standards and quality expectations. Evaluate needs assessments and other data to make recommendations for program improvements. Support Leadership Development, Performance Management, Succession Management, 360 Evaluations, Coaching, and other employee development initiatives. • Co-design the employee development programs including design, development, facilitation, evaluation, coaching, and communication of assigned deliverables. • Design and analyze more complex evaluations, e.g., levels 3 - 4 data; Provide evaluation data and feedback to Management; recommend development or process modifications. • Design and develop effective materials for classroom training, webinars, conferences, coaching, and other development methods. • Review, and evaluate employee development deliverables for accuracy, quality, and effectiveness. • Work closely with Training Development and Training Delivery teams to build programs internally. • Research and analyze data to help Management make appropriate decisions about development solutions, vendor fit, and leadership development best practices. • Build effective relationships with all stakeholders; create an effective learning environment for all employees; create a ‘pull’ for learning and development across the Company. • Work closely with the Leadership Development Manager and other Senior Leaders to ensure programs are in alignment with Company Leadership Strategy. • Review deliverables to ensure consistency, accuracy, learning effectiveness, and adherence to department standards. • Special projects as assigned by the Leadership Development Manager and other HR leaders with projects such as developing and updating training, materials, and other projects. What You Will Need: • Bachelor’s degree preferred; Relevant education or experience (adult learning, training & development, instructional design, MBA) • Minimum 5+ years of training and development required • 2+ years of leadership development preferred • 1+ years of executive leadership development preferred • 3+ years in a corporate environment • Consulting/Partnering model application, strategic thinker • Experience in data analysis and vendor management. • Experience with various forms of program evaluation and performance measurement systems and tools. • Proven track-record designing effective employee development initiatives and programs. • Demonstrated ability to facilitate a wide range of development strategies to increase learning retention. • Ability to multi-task and effectively manage competing deadlines and demands; prefer certification in chosen leadership development tools (Franklin Covey, DiSC, Crucial Conversations, Coaching, and 360-evaluations). • Proven experience with Google Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite and Articulate 360 is a plus. • Proven experience working in an environment with very high expectations for quality and timeliness • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to problem-solve and influence organizational change • Proven ability to work effectively within a high performing team • Skilled at adapting to shifting priorities, and adapt to others’ work and communication styles.
