We are partnering with a local industrial manufacturing team in the search for an experienced HSE Manager. Where You Get To Live! The primary role of this position is to plan, coordinate, and direct health and safety programs for the organization by performing the following duties. •Directs and administers corporate environmental health and safety program including training, assessment, and documentation. •Monitors the company’s health standards in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. •Maintains working knowledge of new developments in the industry and government regulations. •Develops and implements programs and policies for monitoring and preventing chemical, physical, and biological hazards. •Surveys, compiles, and analyzes data relating to occupational and environmental health issues such as chemical exposure, vapors, gases, solvents, dusts, noise, temperatures, smoke, lighting and ergonomics and other factors known or suspected of being real or potential detriments to health. •Performs field and safety measurements, safety evaluations, and hazardous waste evaluations. •Develops or provides input to hazardous materials communications, including maintaining Safety Data Sheets. •Implements or recommends control measures for exposure to hazardous materials or conditions. •Documents incident investigations. •Maintains safety files and records. •Leads the company behavior based safety program. •Maintains and purchases personal protective equipment. •Maintains written compliance, safety and contingency plans. What You Will Need: •Bachelor’s degree in related field •A minimum of two years of related experience •Experience conducting routine safety inspections and coming up with solutions to solve work place safety issues. •Passion for the work you do!
